Mini Blahs: Static - Can you help?

Right guys, we would like your help. It will only take a few minutes, but when done, it’ll look wicked! We would like everyone who has a webcam or digital camera to record themselves reading the sentences and words below. Obviously we would like to try and get as many people doing the same thing… so please spread the word!

Here are the rules:

• We would like to get everyone to record themselves in a dark room (probably best at night), with only your computer or laptop screen as the light.
• Please use a program like Windows Movie Maker or iMovie – both of which have the ‘capture video’ option to capture directly from your webcam. In both, there should be the option of recording a ‘High Quality’ (Small) video (a resolution of 320 x 240).
• Please make sure you look directly at the camera instead of reading off of the screen, and make sure to pause between each sentence before reading the next. This will also help us to edit the words and sentences together. Also try and make it sound sinister, perhaps even evil!
• Finally, export the video as either a WMV or AVI file, and then email it to: miniblahs@googlemail.com. You may have to zip the file first!

Obviously we will give credit to everyone who participates - so if you want an acting credit on your resume, then get involved!

Please record yourself saying these sentences:

• “Can you feel it?”
• “Change is coming.”
• “Nothing is going to be the same again.”

…and then record yourself saying these words:

• “Music”
• “Video”
• “Literature”
• “Podcasting”
